The EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lets you enjoy coverage from wide-angle to telephoto. In the example, you will notice that at the 15mm range (wide-angle), the camera sees more of the ceiling and surrounding areas. Areas of the room that weren’t visible with the EF-S 18-200mmm or the EF-S 18-135mm now come into play. There is a greater degree of perspective as the other people appear farther back in the picture. As you zoom in, this lens will keep more objects/people in the centre of focus. At 85mm, the girl is still in the centre, but everything around her is also in perfect focus. This lens is also excellent for capturing landscapes with exceptional depth of field. Advanced optical elements efficiently correct aberrations in order to achieve clear, sharp images over the entire zoom range.
